IBM Joins OpenOffice.org community

IBM will be making initial code contributions that it has been developing as part of its Lotus Notes product, including accessibility enhancements, and will be making ongoing contributions to the feature richness and code quality of OpenOffice.org. "Isso significa que tudo que não seja modificável e redestribuível será vetado, incluindo firmware, archivos PDF, vídeo, som, etc. "Estamos tentando aplicar os princípios da Free Software Foundation a toda à plataforma", disse o presidente da Canonical, a empresa da África do Sul que desenvolve o Ubuntu, Mark Shuttleworth, por meio do seu blog.
